How to setup Front Page in Kulkuri Theme

Front page Setup

Kulkuri has one custom page template called Front Page. First, set up your front page.

Step 1

• Go to Pages → Add New to create a new page to use as the front page.
• Add a title to this page, it can be anything you want.
• Under the Page Attributes window, set the template to Front Page.
• Publish the page when done. There is no need to add text content to this page, since it won’t output anywhere.
• Go to Settings → Reading and click A static front page. In the Front page dropdown, choose the front page you created above.
• When finished, click Save Changes.

Step 2

Add Subpages for Front Page and those pages will automatically be the scrolling content in your front page.

• Go to Appearance → Add New to create a new pages to use as subpages of front page.
• To assign subpage select Front Page as Parent page under Page Attributes.

Step 3

Install Simple Page Order Plugin to drag and drop subpages in new order. That will automatically change to order of content.
